5th grade / Shapes / Angle problems / Angles inside a triangle
The sum of the angles inside any triangle is always 180 degrees. This is known as the "Triangle Sum Theorem".
In this topic you are given diagrams of triangles where a certain angle x is not given a value. In each instance you are required to calculate angle x from the information provided, knowing that all the internal angles in a triangle add up to 180°.
For instance, question 1 shows an equilateral triangle with one angle marked as 60°. A second angle is marked x. We know that equilateral triangles have 3 internal angles of 60° so angle x is 60°.
With our Pong math game you will be practicing the topic "Angles inside a triangle" from 5th grade / Shapes / Angle problems. The math in this game consists of 16 questions that ask you to use the fact that angles inside a triangle sum to 180° to find the missing angle X.
In our version of Pong/Breakout, there are 3 types of bricks for you to break: green bricks are worth just 2 points; yellow bricks are worth a whopping 50 points; breaking white bricks, which are worth 10 points, wins you a math question from the topic you have chosen.
You start with 5 lives. If the ball goes below the paddle, you lose a life and 200 points. The game ends when you answer all 10 questions or lose all your lives.
