How to multiply 3 single digit numbers
This is a fun topic where you must multiply together 3 numbers up to 6. For instance,
2 x 2 x 5 = 20
4 x 2 x 4 = 32
6 x 6 x 6 = 216
The main trick is to not be put off by all those numbers and symbols. Split the sum into 2 parts and think of them as separate. So, with 4 x 4 x 4 for example, we can say
4 x 4 = 16
16 x 4 = 64
All questions in the topic are of the same format, it's just about speed really. How good are your mental calculation skills?
