4th grade / Multiplication / Number facts / Cube number notation
Cube number notation is a mathematical notation used to represent numbers raised to the power of three. In this notation, a number is followed by the superscript "³" to indicate that it is cubed.
For example, if we have the number 64, we can express it in cube number notation as "4³" or "4 cubed". This indicates that this is 4 raised to the power of 3, which means multiplying 4 by itself three times: 4 × 4 × 4 = 64.
Generally, if we have the number N, its cube in cube number notation would be "N³" which means N x N x N.
Cube number notation is a way to express the operation of cubing a number in a concise and standardized form. It is commonly used in mathematics and scientific calculations.
