6th grade / Statistics / Discrete data / Frequency tables / Match data to frequency table
Frequency tables are a way of laying out data to show the number of items there are in different categories. Frequency tables split data into categories so that the frequency of each category can be analysed more easily.
From frequency tables you can see what are the most and least frequent categories, and calculate means, modes and ranges. They are also used as a source to generate more graphical representations such as bar charts, pie charts, etc. Accurately reading frequency tables is a vital skill in statistics.
In this topic you are asked to compare raw data sets to frequency tables and to decide whether the data is accurately represented by the frequency table or not.
There are 8 question/answer pairs in the lessons for this topic, and an additional 8 question/answer pairs in all the games and tests.
With our Duck shoot math game you will be practicing the topic "Match data to frequency table" from 6th grade / Statistics / Discrete data / Discrete data. The math in this game consists of 16 questions that ask you to decide whether each frequency table correctly matches the given raw data.
