4th grade / Fractions / Multiply fractions / Multiply unit fractions of quantities
Multiplying fractions by integers is more easily approached by regarding the integer as the fraction x / 1. Now we are simply multiplying 2 fractions together. Additionally, since the integer fraction denominator is 1, we can simply multiply the numerator by the integer and divide by the fraction denominator to get an answer.
In the case of unit fractions, this simplifies even further to simply dividing the integer value by the unit fraction denominator.
With our Duck shoot math game you will be practicing the topic "Multiply unit fractions of quantities" from 4th grade / Fractions / Multiply fractions. The math in this game consists of 16 questions that ask you to use formal multiplication to find unit fraction parts of quantities.
