Counting in steps of 7 means adding or subtracting 7 to a number each time you count. This is a great way to practice your adding and subtracting skills and learn about patterns. When you count in steps of 7 from 0 using a number line, you are also finding the numbers in the 7 times table.
A number line is a simple tool that helps us visualize and understand numbers, their order, and the relationships between them. It is a straight line with evenly spaced marks that represent numbers. The marks are often labeled with the numbers they represent, so we can identify and compare them. In this topic the number line shows the numbers from 0 to 70 and each mark going right has a value 7 more than the previous one. This is called a "7 step number line".
This topic asks you to work out what is the missing number in each 7 step number line. There is one missing number in each question.
The second question in the topic shows the 7 step number line with a missing number box under the fourth mark after the 0. To work out the missing number, start at 0 and count up in sevens. You will see that the missing number is 28 because 0 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 28.
With our Duck shoot math game you will be practicing the topic "7 step number line" from 3rd grade / Counting / In steps of 7. The math in this game consists of 12 questions that ask you to identify the missing steps on these 7 step number lines to 70.
DUCK SHOOT is a fun game to learn math where you attempt to knock over all the fairground ducks in each level. In the first level there are only 6 ducks but by level 10 there are 24 fast moving "quackers quacking"...
